Addressing Ableism in the Classroom: Discrimination on the basis of Ability

In this series, participants will explore the meaning and history of Ableism from an Antibias perspective and through self reflection on our own beliefs and practices. In addition, we will investigate strategies to decrease Ableism and increase children with Disabilities and/or Special Needs positive sense of identity within the early childhood setting.
